Recruitment Task List

Once you’ve copied your own Recruitment Planning Dashboard Google Sheet (included on the Resources Page), you can personalize your dashboard to meet your individual needs. To help lift some of the burden from your shoulders, you can share this dashboard with other colleagues, parents, or specific students. Don’t feel overwhelmed — you can use as much or as little of our resources as you’d like. Just choose the specific content that you’d like to use and set dates for deployment. Here are tasks to help you in that process:

WEEK 1

Upload your potential student list
Upload a list of any current and potential student so you can track their enrollment status.

WEEK 1

Appoint student Czar
Students can, and want to help build the program. Choose a lead student(s) to help manage the communication flow.

WEEK 1

Have student Czar empower a team
Have your student leader build a team to manage social media, student contact and do peer to peer recruiting.

WEEK 1

Review/choose materials
Review and choose which types of materials you want to use. Use the checklist below to keep tabs.

WEEK 2

Create deployment schedule
Create a “contact” calendar in which you detail communications to parents, students, and on social media.

WEEK 2

Deploy resources
Enact your plan. Remember to let your students help manage the implementation.

WEEK 2

Collect registrations/build roster
Collect data and document when students respond so you can verify enrollment later. Watch your program grow.

WEEK 3

Determine who is missing
Separate those who have not responded or declined enrollment.

WEEK 3

Re-target non-registered students
Create a plan to re-recruit all of these individuals.

WEEK 3

Verify enrollment with admin
Submit your verified enrollment to your administration and / or guidance department.
